Welcome to Hell's Gate, where surviving an apocalyptic event is a regular Tuesday, but getting a second date is impossible. Stay out of the city park past dusk, adhere to the curfew on Tuesdays, and whatever you do, keep the batteries in your UV flashlights charged. Grace Walker is the city's top PR specialist. Her job is to make Hell's Gate look desirable to tourists and potential residents. An impossible task when every day could be the city's last. Unfortunately, even the best marketing strategies aren't strong enough to fight against the rumours of vampires, werewolves, demons, and other monsters running around the city. Rumours that just happen to be true. To make matters worse, the firm hires a new boss, who is inconveniently handsome, (and single), who has not only taken it upon himself to work on Grace's campaign but has also gone behind her back and pitched a new marketing plan to the city. She hates him, and the feelings seem mutual. Their rocky start leads to constant arguments, power struggles, and an inappropriate assistant who needs to be constantly kept in check. None of this compares to the horrors of dating in your thirties. Grace is finally ready to find love and is prepared to navigate the trenches of online dating. The only question is what will implode first? Work, the world, or her love life?
