While Tobias McFitzroy rots in jail after a drunken spree, his daughter is murdered. Punishment continues after Tobias dies, his ghost trapped on Earth, unless he saves his reincarnated daughter, Samantha McFitzroy, from the offspring of his old enemy, Amos Vickers a world-renowned philanthropist who secretly operates a drug-smuggling operation overseas. Tobias grows weaker the longer he remains on Earth. Unable to prevent two attempts on Samantha's life, Tobias fears he's not up to the task. Embittered towards the law, he must collaborate with a local police officer, Ivar Rexall, to save Samantha's life. Ivar doesn't believe in ghosts, but proof grows that one exists. He can't explain the mysterious bombings and arson occurring in his town. Nor can he prevent the explosive passion erupting for Samantha.

Autorenporträt
Jill S. Flateland spent 40 years as a nurse executive. After retiring in 2006, she took her first bold steps into the wider writing world. Among her published works are real stories about family members who took part in many historical events that shaped the world (from the early 20th century to WW2). She's also written several novels, including one that was a finalist in the 2014 Colorado Gold Contest of the Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers Group.Today, she and her husband live in Colorado and travel extensively. A portion of sales from her books is also funneled towards charitable causes that the couple is actively involved in. The first is Angel Covers, where proceeds support a Vill-Angel Medical clinic in the center of a rural farming community in Katale, Kenya, allowing poor families to receive high-quality healthcare. The second is Seeds of South Sudan, where donations help rescue refugees from Kakuma Refugee Camp in Kenya, allowing orphans to attend boarding schools in the country. Once these students graduate, they plan to return to South Sudan to help rebuild its economy and infrastructure and create a stabilized nation.
