Nancy Ann Healy is a best-selling author of lesbian fiction and romance. A Connecticut native, Nancy is the author five novels. Her debut political thriller novel, Intersection quickly shot to number one on Amazon and was enthusiastically reviewed by both Kirkus Reviews and Curve Magazine Online. Nancy followed that release with four more novels in the Alex and Cassidy series: Betrayal, Commitment, and Conspiracy, and a stand-alone novel in the series called Untold. Additionally, Nancy penned the romantic drama Falling Through Shooting Stars. In 2015, Nancy began writing short story series in lesbian romance under the pen name JA Armstrong. As JA Armstrong, Nancy currently writes five best-selling series: Off Screen, By Design, Special Delivery, Lesson Plans, and the recently released First Course. In total, Nancy has written twenty-three stories as JA Armstrong. In 2014 Nancy wrote and directed an original play Spin, which follows two families as they cope with the fallout of gun violence. She continues to write all five JA Armstrong series, and is pursuing development of By Design as a web series. Nancy lives in Connecticut with her wife, Melissa and their three dogs, Sydney, Maggie, and Jameson.
