Michael McLemore was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. After graduating from the University of Georgia he began a thirty-nine year career as a teacher, coach, counselor, and principal. He worked with students in Georgia and the United Arab Emirates. Michael is married to his wife of fifty-two years, Phyllis. They have two married children and two grandchildren. He and his wife reside in Griffin, Georgia.
