Autorenporträt
Adelheid Holthuis immigrated to the United States from Germany in 1954. Since then, she has flown back and forth to Germany countless times. She maintains dual citizenship. Ms. Holthuis grew up in Holland, Michigan where she received her B.A. in German Literature from Hope College. Thereafter, she received an M.A. in German Literature and linguistics from the University of Hawaii in Honolulu. She has two grown children and currently resides with her husband in San Antonio, Texas.
