Not very academic or recognised as an introductory method to theology by any Bible College, but I thought if upstairs is Heaven, and downstairs is Hell, the 'lady's chamber' could then represent 'a new earth'; for when considering our final abode, our final destination, or whatever words/ concept you would prefer, it isn't just Heaven or Hell. That may have been the old me, and indeed millions of others, but we also have to accept the Bible refers to all three: Heaven, Hell and/or a new earth. Yet how many would honestly say Heaven is the ultimate destiny of the believer without even considering that the Bible refers to a new earth? Even after many years of research on this subject I cannot honestly say I am convinced I have an answer, and why should I? I am mortal and can only know what I know at the present time; I have changed my views over the years on many issues, not so much the crux of each issue but some of the peripheral issues that surround the main issue.
