This study is designed to evaluate the protection and effects of clove oil of two doses 500 mg/kg and 750 mg/kg on animals treated with 75 mg/kg Uranyl nitrat (UN)induced organ toxicity in digestive system organs (stomach, small intestine, large intestine and liver) of rats, the changes in the body weight, weight of organs( livers), oxidative stress (by determination MDA and GSH ,in liver and in serum of each group), cholesterol, lipid profile, apoptosis in the epithelial mucosa, and histological appearance of the studied organs were evaluated and compare with that of negative and positive control. Histopathological study showed damaged cells caused by uranium , degeneration, necrosis, cytoplasm vacillations, in groups treated with uranium, regeneration, but showed normal looking in groups treated with clove oil. E.M. showed that changes (glassy cells, carcinogenesis) in cells of rectum of animals groups treated with uranium, but showed normal looking in groups treated with clove oil. This results give a light that clove oil can be considered as anti-carcinogenic agents.
