A systematic evaluation of dispersion models as a tool for air quality assessment and management in a Vietnamese context was conducted with focus on technical as well as management aspects. The research studied the application of dispersion models in line with the Integrated Monitoring and Assessment (IMA) concept. An evaluation of model calculations against available measurements was carried out. This study contributed to a systematic evaluation of air pollution conditions in Hanoi and identified factors that influence air quality.
