This book presents the results of research into the growth and evolution of the urban layout of the municipality of Xanxerê, Santa Catarina, in southern Brazil, through a didactic and informative project that highlights and explains its growth over the years, which is the main objective of the work. Rescuing and presenting the city's old layout and buildings brings back forgotten memories, which as a result ignite a sense of belonging and cultural and heritage appreciation.Therefore, in order to keep the city's memory alive, it is essential to know the paths of local growth.
