Uric acid lithiasis is a frequent and frequently recurring condition that affects mostly young adult males. The spectrophotometric analysis of expelled calculi provides information that can contribute effectively to the understanding of the mechanisms involved in their formation allowing secondary prevention.The objectives of this work were to study the epidemiological particularities of urinary lithiasis of uric acid in the region of Sfax and to determine the morphology and composition of these stones by morpho-constitutional analysis.It is a retrospective mono-centric descriptive study on the files of urinary lithiasis of uric acid identified by the morpho-constitutional study, collected in the laboratory of clinical biochemistry of the university hospital center (CHU) Habib Bourguiba of Sfax, Tunisia during the period from January 2011 until December 2019.
