This shallow marine ecosystem is the third largest salt lake on earth. It is considered to be one of the biggest natural habitats of a unique multicellular organism, Artemia Urmiana.

Dr. Mostafa Zeinoddini is an associate prof. in offshore and marine structures at KNToosi University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. He is the author of over 90 international technical papers & 4 books. He led over 14 industrial research projects. He is the reviewer/member of editorial board for some national/international journals.
