As part of its campaign, it had created the Arabic speaking Al-Hurra television network, radio Sawa and the former Hi magazine, amongst others. This book will research and asses America s success in its public diplomacy campaign in the Middle East,through a combination of wide literature review and field research. It will document past trends and attempt to predict future ones.

Injy Galal is een Egyptische geleerde gespecialiseerd in massacommunicatie met meer dan een decennium professionele ervaring. Sinds 2005 doceert ze media-ethiek aan de American University in Caïro, waar ze haar BA en MA graden had behaald. Ze heeft verschillende gepubliceerde onderzoeksdocumenten en haar M.A-proefschrift is het onderwerp van dit boek.
