As a developing country, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (the KSA) does not have a proper technological infrastructure unlike developed countries. Therefore, efficient strategies are required to improve effectively the usage of ICT in the KSA primary schools. Improving the usage of ICT in the KSA primary schools may be achieved by integrating ICT into the classroom. Some barriers which prevent a successful ICT implementation in the primary school have been identified. These barriers are classified as teacher factor, school/institution factor and extrinsic factor.
