Nothing will benefit human health and increase chances for survival of life on earth as much as the evolution of vegetarian diet. Among different vegetables, carrot is nutritionally and economically one of the most important root crop in the world. Limited supply of water is responsible for the reduction of crop yield. Unfortunately, In Pakistan irregular pattern of rain fall i.e. less than 100 mm is the major reason for drought stress and therefore, crop production is low as compared to the world. In order to reduce supply gap between production and consumption, massive use of fertilizers is also causing serious soil and water pollution problems as well as creating economical issues. Therefore, the use of economical and eco-friendly resources is the need of time. Biofertilizers are substances that contain microorganisms (living or latent cells), which convert unavailable form of elements to their available form to plants by different biological processes with low ecological impact.
