Fusion devices are supposed to maintain the fused segment height, correct deformity, and aid in bony fusion. Cervical cages are good option for anterior cervical discectomy and fusion. Variable designs, materials, and sizes of cages are available to choose from. This work evaluates three different types of cervical cages and their ability to improve the clinical and radiological picture of patients with degenerative cervical disc disease.

Had a scholarship of spine surgery at Wald Klinikum Gera, Germany in 2006, and AO Trauma Fellowship in 2004 at Kantonsspital Luzern, Switzerland.
