This study evaluates the use of granulated foundry slag in ceramic masses for the red ceramics industry, with the aim of not only contributing to the planet's environmental quality by reusing this waste, but also improving the quality of structural ceramics produced in the state of Piauí. The results showed that the addition of granulated foundry slag to the basic ceramic mass is quite feasible, and in some cases there was an improvement in the technological properties, giving greater quality to the ceramic pieces produced, so this could be an alternative for utilising this waste, while also contributing to the planet's environmental quality.…mehr
