Burns of the face and neck are very painful and if not treated properly may not only lead to infection but can also cause unpleasant scarring and social stigmatization. Thus we need an ideal topical agent with the following characteristics: promote healing, control infection, can be easy to apply and store, relieve pain and not soil the bed and clothing. As we have a large burns unit with a high flow of burns patients, in such a situation my study will help to select a newer more effective treatment modality in management of burn patients The results of this study will help to devise the best practice for management of Facial Burns. Hence, the physicians will be able to control the patients' morbidity and reduce social stigmatization related to post burn scarring of face.
