Use of zeolite in enhancing methane combustion performance was studied. Both experimental and analytical studies were carried out. This work focused on two parts. The first part was about methane combustion at low concentration condition aiming at air cleaning usage. The second part focused on methane combustion at high concentration condition aiming at energy generation. The limitations of this study and the extensions to this work were also discussed.

K.S. Hui received his PhD degree in the Department of MechanicalEngineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technologyin 2008. He has extensive research experience in catalysis, airpollution control, desiccant cooling, production of bio-ethanolfrom rice husk, waste water treatment, solid waste recycling andmanagement.
