The term "Artifact" refers to a complex object intentionally made or modified by man in order to be able to use it to achieve a purpose. The design of a complex object is a very important activity for any public or private organization. Producing an artifact that is not very intuitive and scarcely usable for the user, can mean to decree its failure in advance. In the design phase it is essential to follow a methodology that sees - in the user who will have to use the artifact - "the core of the design". But at the same time the professional contribution of experts and specialists is fundamental. One of these figures is the interaction designer, who is in charge of designing the best possible interaction between a human being and an artifact. This work aims to offer a contribution in this direction, showing the experimental activity that led to the design and implementation of an iTunesU platform using the methodology of User-Centered Design.
