Another purpose of library assessment is to identify users' pulses, their needs, likes and dislikes. Because users are considered as customers and library must understand customers' needs to serve them in an efficient manner as they are best judges. The third purpose of assessment, to provide feedback to the library authorities and higher management in order to improve wherever required and manages and maintains the existing library services. This kind of feedback helps the management's involvement to improve infrastructure and implement modern technologies, by consideration of development of the library.
