Using videos in class has contributed to the acquisition and improvement of the English language through history in different ways. Therefore teachers have been incorporating videos in their lessons, trying to achieve better results in the teaching-learning process of the target language. However, it is a reality that many teachers, specially in Cuba, don t feel enough confident when preparing their English lessons using a video, because they don t have enough knowledge concerning the most appropriate activities according to the level of the students and also to the stage of the lesson. Besides, teachers do not have sufficient materials to support their training that evidence the use of videos in class and this is an unfavourable aspect that should be solved. So, the issue concerning how to use videos in order to improve the English lessons has motivated the author to focus on this subject. Therefore, the main objective of the book is to gain in depth knowledge and understanding about the use of videos in English lessons. Then, the author designed a Blog for training teachers to use videos more efficiently in class. You can consult this Blog at www.ybrunet.blogspot.com
