JOHN T. PARDECK is currently on the faculty at Southwest Missouri State University in the Department of Social Work. He is the author of Child Abuse and Neglect: Theory, Research, and Practice (1989), Microcomputers in Early Childhood Education (1988), Child Welfare Training and Practice (Greenwood, 1982), Books for Early Childhood: A Development Perspective (Greenwood, 1986), and Young People with Problems: A Guide to Bibliotherapy (Greenwood, 1984).
