Knowledge of how materials are designed and manufactured or processed is vital for the knowledge of how they may failed during in-serve condition. Composite(composite materials) is a combination of two or more distinct materials to form a new material with enhanced property. The use of NDT during and after manufacturing of composite is very important since inclusion of flaws commonly happened during manufacturing or material processing and to be more cost effective as their fallure during used could lead to lost of lives and properties. Hence, a non-destructive machine called Eddy current machine was used to verify the integrity of a carbon fiber composite manufactured in laboratory of the University of Bolton and the data collated was modelled in MatLab to display any discontuinity in it during manufacturing. The same CFC was destroyed using Velocity impact machine and the EC was also used to scan the damaged sample and modelled also in MatLab. The two model were compared which show that EC is a reliable and cost saving machine that can be used to detect composite materials fault earlier to avoid sudden break down. This book demonstrated how to manufacture CFC and how to use EC.
