This work aims to focus on using peer feedback and self-assessment in teaching English as a foreign language to secondary grammar school students in Debrecen. It is made up of four sections. The first gives a historical background to the topic and highlights the key concepts of feedback styles. Section 2 contains the description of the research and the questionnaire (which was used as research method). In section 3 the data gained from the questionnaires is detailed. Also, an attempt is made to explain the possible results. Finally, the entire thesis is summarized and a conclusion is intended to be drawn.
