When learning a language, people are usually faced with different kinds of materials, either physical, virtual, or a combination of both. These materials do not have the same effect on learners, since there is more at stake in the learning process, and various factors can affect the final result of using them. This book presents a research investigation conducted with the aim of establishing the effects that these types of materials can have in the learning of English language with students of higher education, and of providing some insight to teachers who are embarking in the process of material selection and use in the language classroom.
