This book narrates a research study, which was administered to examine the efficacy of employing Social Networking Application (SNA) as a teaching and learning tool on improving writing competency of IELTS candidates. The current research study also examined the students' attitudes regarding learning through SNA. Thirty-two undergraduate students participated in this study all of which were within the age range of 19 to 23. During the treatment, the SNA was employed for improving participants writing competency. After treatment, the finding was analyzed, which showed that SNA had a significant impact on improving the writing competency of IELTS candidates. At the end of the study, a questionnaire and an interview were conducted in order to find the participants attitudes regarding SNA. The analysis of qualitative data revealed that participants had a positive attitude towards using SNA for learning writing. The results of the current research study can be very beneficial for IELTS teachers, IELTS candidates, supervisors, syllabus designers, and material producers.

Salman Sabzian Molaie (Borujerd, 1991) received a Master¿s degree in Applied Linguistics from Chabahar Maritime University, Islamic Republic of Iran.
