La autora es posgraduada en Educación Ambiental (Especialización) por la Facultad de Educación São Luís. Licenciada en Química por la Universidad de Franca. Licenciada en Ciencias Naturales y Matemáticas (Ciclo Básico) por la Universidad Virtual del Estado de São Paulo.
