This book sets out to give a general overview of the availability of technology in learning a new language at a university; to outline the various uses of information and communication technologies in this sector; to provide a few, selected studies of best practice, illustrating meaningful deployment of these resources; and to point towards future developments and possible implementation in the coming decade. However, the question rises as to effectiveness of these technologies in learning a new language as well as the quality of instruction provided. For this reason, this study was put together to examine the effectiveness of using technology in learning a new language at a university. The clusters of information included in this study are: technology in the classroom, using technology to learn a new language, and the effectiveness of technology to learn a new language.
