Maternity care is still poor in rural areas of Nepal. The study has assessed the utilisation of maternity care among rural women in Nepal. Pregnant women are not receiving quality antenatal care. Mrs Sulochana Dhakal is a health worker. She has a long experience working for international organisations in Nepal such as Save the Children Fund (UK), International Nepal Fellowship. She has particular interest in maternal health and women related issues. She studied MSc in Health Services & Public Health Research in Aberdeen University in 2005.
