This book is an empirical study of the utilisation of social media among high school students. It takes a look at the uses and gratifications of the social media among this vibrant segment of the world's population, and also the challenges faced by them in their daily usage of the different social media platforms. The book also discusses how the "Arab Spring" inspired many youth across the globe to see in the social media, veritable platforms of resistance and social action that can be used to inspire social change in society.
