Rumen contents is the undigested mass (feed, microflora, bacteria, micro-organisms, rumen liquid, etc) in the rumen of slaughtered animals. It contains many nutrients that can be utilized in animals feeding. Enzymes treatments of rumen contents are very essential in order to degrade ligno-cellulosics into lignin, cellulose, hemicellulose and improve crude protein content to improve its nutritive value. Replacing berseem clover with enzymes treated rumen contents improved goat's rumen kinetics, nutrients digestibility, not affected blood chemistry, improved both produced milk quality and quantity without any adverse effect on animals health. It also improved both Feed efficiency and economic efficiency of the rations.
