This research was a product of the pursuit of finding a more effective teaching strategy that would give rise to the realization of the attainment of a reasonable improvement on grammar skills of the students through the employment of the Problem-Based Learning. The study entitled Utilization of Problem-Based Learning in Improving Grammar Skills of Grade 8 Students sought to find out the effectiveness of utilizing PBL in teaching grammar to Grade 8 students of Florentino Torres High School during the academic year 2018-2019. Based on the analysis of the data, the significant findings of the study are as follows: First, there was a significant difference that existed in the post-test performances of two groups in grammar since the computed t-value of 3.25 was greater than the tabular t-value of 1.99. Second, there was also a significant difference that existed between the pre-test and post-test performances of the PBL group in grammar since at 5% significance level, the computed t-value of 14.38 was higher than the tabular t-value of 2.02. Lastly, by comparison, the mean learning gains of PBL group was 16.69% higher than that of the non-PBL group.
