Utilization of wastes in the cultivation of edible mushrooms (Pleurotus tuber-regium, Pleurotus ostreatus and Volvariella volvacea)is aimed at efficient utilization and re-integration of huge Agricultural and industrial wastes generated during farming and most post harvest processes into mushroom cultivation will dispose these materials in an environmentally friendly manner thereby reducing environmental pollution resulting from their bio-degradation.
