Autorenporträt
Ingrid Widiarto wurde 1947 in Schleswig geboren. Sie wuchs in Kiel auf, machte in Germersheim ihren Abschluss als Diplom-Übersetzerin für romanische Sprachen und arbeitete als Übersetzerin und Sekretärin, zuletzt viele Jahre an der Freien Universität Berlin. Durch Familie und Reisen lernte sie unterschiedliche Länder und Kulturen kennen, aber erst die Uiguren berührten sie so sehr, dass sie es sich zur Aufgabe machte, durch Bücher und Geschichten auf die prekäre Lebenssituation dieses Volkes in China aufmerksam zu machen. https://www.uigurkultur.com
