Väinö Liikkanen (1 November 1903 15 October 1957) was a Finnish cross-country skier who competed in the 1920s and 1930''s.He was born in Virolahti.Liikkanen won a silver medal in the 50 km event at the 1932 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, New York. He finished 9th in the shorter cross-country skiing event at the same Olympics. He also won two medals at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships with a gold in the 4 x 10 km (1935) and a bronze in the 18 km (1933).
