Autorenporträt
Agnes Alexander is the name Lynette Hampton uses for all her books now, though a few written under her Hampton name are still in print. She is a multi-published author with over 60 published books. She writes in different genres, but her favorite to write and to read are Western Historical Romances. A lifelong resident of North Carolina, she has visited 48 of the 50 states and particularly enjoys vacationing in the western US. She is the mother of one daughter (a first-grade teacher) who is married to the best son-in-law (a contractor) a woman could want. She is a grandmother of two grown grandchildren (brother and sister) who both graduated from college this year-a boy, Trent, who received his master's degree in grief counseling and is pursuing a job with hospice, and a girl, Blaire, who majored in dance and minored in business and has an offer to work at Disney World. Agnes lives within a mile of her family in a townhouse she shares with Victoria, her long-haired black and brown cat, who is the actual ruler of the house.
