Valley Center Western Days, is a community involved event in Valley Center, California, produced annually by the Valley Center Chamber of Commerce and held at the Valley Center Community Center over Memorial Day weekend. The event is ran by volunteers and the majority of funds raised by the event is returned back to the community. Each year the festivities kicks off on Friday night with the Honorary Mayors race and a Friday night Stampede Rodeo, and conclude the festivities with entertainment. Saturday morning starts off with the traditional Valley Center Rotary Club pancake breakfast where you can eat and then head out to the main road in town and scout out the perfect spot to watch the parade. Then head over to the Valley Center Community Center and enjoy the entertainment, creative vendors, exhibits, tasty foods, balloon artists, face-painters, mechanical bull, rock wall and live music. Just next-door is our one of a kind Carnival complete with Ferris wheel.
