The first volume of stories such as 'Kalyani' was published in 1945. Next, in 1946, 'Natyakkari' was published. In 1954 a collection entitled 'Vallikkannan Stories' was published. All of these were published by different friends who were not in the business of publishing the book. Even now my friend Sellappa has come before me to publish a volume of my stories because of the love he has for me. The 'writing publication' is an honor for me so I consider this. -Vallikannan.
