It was renovated in 2005.In 2005 Vallivue Middle School received new lighting, paint, carpet, and HVAC systems to the main building, 900 building, and the 8th grade building. The main foyer was enclosed and a new entry was built. The administrative offices were completely remodeled as well. All the bathrooms were updated. The library was extended and received a new librarian''s office and a new circulation desk. The cafeteria was extended and received a separate room for the ISS kids to eat lunch.
