We have all been at that point of no return... It is a dark place indeed. In volume two of the Vampires of Nirvana, Kristen and Slade again face life-changing decisions. Slade has been keeping a dark secret all his life and denying his DNA. Nevertheless, as with most secrets, they usually come into the light. Slade can hide no more. Having kept a low profile until forced to reveal his true identity, Phoenix homicide detective Slade Jericho is now out in the open. In the second installment of the Vampires of Nirvana, Slade and Kristen find themselves on the radar of the Vampire High Council of Violations and Judgments. Inside that sphere of terror is a place that he and his Tribal Nation had hoped he would never have to step. For Slade, it is not optional. The Council of Violations has Kristen. Slade refuses to hide anymore, and for the first time in millennia, The Children of the Sun are fighting back with the help of some very unusual shapeshifters to save the last of their kind. Slade and Chase McKinnon go head-to-head with the second most powerful man in the vampire collective and his army set on evil. Flinging the doors to war wide-open, they are at the point of no return. What no one counted on is the Queen.Hinweis: Dieser Artikel kann nur an eine deutsche Lieferadresse ausgeliefert werden.
Ranay James, renowned author of the best selling paranormal and fantasy series The McKinnon Legends A Time Travel Series and Vampires of Nirvana, moved to a small farm in East Texas along with her husband and two dogs after walking away from the fast-paced corporate life in 2012. It all began in 2004 on New Year's Day. Having made a list of things that she wanted to accomplish for the year, she added some items to that list that would push her skill set, and take her out of her comfort zone. Writing a novel was one of the items. Later that day, Ranay sat down at her computer. Looking at that blank Word document, she simply wrote the first thing that came into her mind. It was the line from a dream that she had in 2002 in a hotel room in Houston, Texas. Ranay started writing that day and simply never stopped. With thirteen published works to her name, and nine more completed awaiting publication, Ranay has found a new passion-the love of storytelling and sharing her characters with the world.
