The purpose of this study was to establish the influence of personal variables on attitude of teachers towards solid waste management in Southern senatorial district of Cross River Sate, Nigeria. The population of the study consisted all the teachers in all the public secondary schools in Southern senatorial district of Cross River State. The results obtained revealed that, teachers' sex, educational level, family size and income level significantly influence their attitude towards solid waste management. The result also revealed that teachers' marital status does not significantly influence their attitude towards solid waste management in the study area. Based on the result it was recommended among others that, there is need for students of Environmental Education who will become teachers in secondary schools to be trained properly to have positive attitude towards solid waste management. It was concluded that, adequate solid waste management practice should be put in place withstrict parameters put in place to ensure compliance.
