The present work aims to study the variation of the imperative in the indicative and conjunctive forms, in the test statements elaborated by Angolan teachers of the Normal Medium Institute of Education "Ferraz Bomboco" in Huambo province. Thus, we intend to delineate the behavior of the treatment forms that trigger the imperative mode, taking into account research that addresses the variation of the imperative associated with the indicative and conjunctive, in the terminology adopted by Scherre et alli (1996-2007), in Brazilian Portuguese. Within this framework, our hypothesis is that the imperative mode in the conjunctive form is more present in written texts of a "non-dialogical" nature. To proceed with the research, we took into consideration "Labovian Sociolinguistics" (1972), as theoretical and methodological support, with the scope of observing and better understanding the functioning of language through (extra)/linguistic factors and that influence the variation of the imperative in the indicative and conjunctive forms. The final results show that the conjunctive presents itself significantly with greater occurrence in the Portuguese language and entrepreneurship statements.
