These anomalies can occur throughout the whole body, with 60%, however, being in the head and neck region probably due to its intricate vascular anatomy of region. Vascular anomalies are divided into vascular tumors and vascular malformations. A diverse group of lesions presenting in complex anatomical locations, a multidisciplinary approach is vital with representation from specialists in paediatrics, dermatology, plasticsurgery, orthopaedic and craniofacial surgery, otorhinolaryngology, oncology, neurosurgery, interventional radiology, and neuro-radiology, as well as supportive input from psychology, physiotherapy and occupational therapy when needed.
