Deterioration of lifestyle and condition is observed in people with vascular diseases, which limits them personally, socially, and professionally. Identification of this kind of patients enables adequate measures to reverse progression of these disorders along with their consequences on morbidity, mortality, and quality of life. Our specific objective is a scientific and evidence-based medical evaluation to determine the degree of health of legs and to set up a personalized treatment plan. The physical therapist will perform special procedures to obtain either a solution or improvement to the problem. The phases of the program focus on reversal of the process, education, monitoring and supporting the patient to avoid relapses. A supervised exercise program has shown improvement in total walking distance, relief of pain at rest, and healing of vascular ulcers, even in patients with residual limbs and walking disabilities, allowing patients to be more functionally independent. In patients with lymphedema, it stops and reverses the pathology.Information to related professionals, angiologists, cardiovascular surgeons, geriatricians, physiatrists and physical therapists, is our goal.
