He is the current Minister of Culture in the caretaker government of Jan Fischer.Riedlbauch studied accordion with Josef Smetana and composition with Zde ek H la at the Prague Conservatory from 1962 to 1968. He continued his studies at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague in the class of Václav Dobiá .
