Several indigenous mathematical techniques were used all over the world. Some of them have fallen into oblivion as a result of colonization and modern education. Ancient India had several methods to simplify the learning of mathematics. Vedas are storehouses of ancient knowledge. Vedic mathematics is found in the appendix of one of the four vedas, the Atharva veda. Extensive research on the applicability of these methods is being carried out in several countries. The aim of this book is to make these ancient methods accessible to mathematics lovers all over the world and it will help to make mathematics easy to understand and fun. It is based on sixteen word formulae. Practicing vedic mathematics will help those who have difficulty with conventional mathematics, and will help to reduce the stress of understanding mathematical concepts.
