Autorenporträt
Born in 1955, Georges-Jean Pinault is professor of linguistics at the École Pratique des Hautes Études (Paris Sciences et Lettres). He is one of the leading experts on Tocharian languages and one of the most reputed specialists of Indo-Aryan languages. Georges-Jean Pinault has also published more than two hundred articles on Indo-European linguistics and is well known for having discovered Pinault's law.
