WHICH IS GREENER: IDLE, OR STOP AND RESTART? The truth is, as most of us know, that global warming is real and humans are major contributors, mainly because we wastefully burn fossil fuels. It's as certain that as long as fossil fuels are the cheapest energy, we will just keep burning them. Yet, despite our many advances, our environment is still threatened by a range of problems, including deterioration of air quality by the unnecessary idling of vehicles. What has become clear from the science is that we cannot burn all of the fossil fuels without creating a very different planet. The goal of this book is to give emphasis on certain strategies by which individual can reduce the vehicle's fuel consumption and exhaust emissions. The focus of the author is to encourage the people for reducing vehicle idling. In other words, when we have knowledge, then we have a chance to save the planet, but if we do not collaborate to initiate this step, if we do not practice mindful consumption, we cannot save our planet. No matter, which strategy is greener and fuel efficient, one must implement and contribute to developing more cleaner and safe environment.
