Velepromet camp was a concentration camp on the outskirts of the Croatian city of Vukovar. It was set up by the Yugoslav People''s Army and Serbian paramilitary forces during the Battle of Vukovar. Between the 18th and 20th of November 1991 approximately 10,000 people of Croatian ethnicity were detained in the buildings of the company "Velepromet". The camp actually consisted of several brick buildings and six tin storage hangars where most of the people were kept. Witnesses reported brutal acts of torture, beating up of prisoners which lasted for hours, random machine-gun executions and scenes of decapitating people.
