Leopold Rittervon Sacher-Masoch (1836 - 1895) was an Austrian journalist and writer. He is most famous for his romantic stories of Galician life. Notably, due to the nature of his writing, the word "masochism" is derived from his name. Many vintage books such as this are becoming increasingly scarce and expensive.
